Which plan

Two numbers decide it.

A recovery sequence sends about 3 emails per abandoned checkout. That volume — not your revenue — is what the free cap measures.

Recovery estimated at 12% of abandoned value — the conservative middle of the 10–15% band merchants see. Want the full model? Use the abandonment calculator.

You'd send

120emails/mo

That's past the 50 free sends — about 70 would be held every month until you upgrade.

Estimated recovery

$235/mo

Pro costs $19. At this volume it pays for itself 12× over every month.

Questions

Before you pay us anything.

Is the free plan really free?
Yes, and there is no card. You get the whole product — all three sequence types, the full analytics dashboard, attribution and holdback reporting — capped at 50 recovery emails per calendar month. Analytics is uncapped and free forever, even after you've used the 50 sends.
What happens when I hit the 50-email cap?
Nothing is dropped. Sends past the cap are held, not deleted — we keep retrying them for about 10 days. The moment you upgrade, every held email goes out automatically, so a busy month doesn't cost you the recoveries behind it. The cap resets on the 1st (UTC).
Does Snagr take a cut of what it recovers?
No. 0%, on both plans. Pro is $19/mo flat no matter whether Snagr brings back $200 or $200,000 this month. The old rev-share pricing is retired and will not come back for anyone who signs up now.
My store is small. Should I pay $19?
Probably not yet. Under roughly $2k/mo through Polar, the free plan's 50 emails will cover you — stay there. We would rather you upgrade when the maths works than churn in month two. The analytics are free either way and will show you when you cross the line.
Monthly or annual?
Same plan, same entitlements — annual is $199/yr, which saves $29 against paying monthly for a year. You can switch from monthly to annual at any time from the billing page; Polar prorates the difference so you're never charged twice.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the Polar customer portal — no email, no retention call. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then drop back to the free 50 emails a month. Your data, sequences, and history stay put.
What does the custom sending domain get me?
Pro sends from your own domain with DKIM, SPF and DMARC set up, instead of the shared Snagr domain. Better inbox placement means more recovery emails actually get seen — which is the whole point of sending them.
