What counts as recovered

How Snagr decides a payment was won back, and how it proves the number is real.

A payment counts as recovered when the customer pays within 14 days of the most recent Snagr message in their flow. Snagr stores the time, the message that preceded it and the amount.

Counted once

One payment is never credited twice, even if the customer was in several flows or your webhook was retried. Use a stable messageId (your order ID) on finish events so retries are recognised.

The holdback group

Some customers would have come back anyway. To show what Snagr actually added, 5% of triggered flows are put in a holdback group that gets no messages. The dashboard compares the two groups and shows the difference as lift.

Signups aren't revenue

A signup flow that ends in onboarding_completed shows as an activation, not as recovered money. Only finish events that carry revenue add to the dollar total.
