Flows
Build the sequence of reminders Snagr runs for each drop-off.
A flow is the list of steps Snagr runs for one kind of drop-off. Each flow has a start event, a finish event, and one or more steps.
Recipes
When you create a flow you can start from a recipe:
- Started checkout, didn't buy:
checkout_started→purchase_completed - Signed up, didn't finish onboarding:
signed_up→onboarding_completed - Trial started, didn't upgrade:
trial_started→purchase_completed - Blank: pick your own start and finish events
Polar stores also get recipes for abandoned checkouts, failed renewals, Win back cancellations and After they buy (a follow-up or upsell after a purchase).
Step types
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Send an email | Sends your reminder. Turn on AI to have Claude tailor the wording for each person; if that fails, your approved copy is sent instead. |
| Show an on-site nudge | Shows a banner or modal the next time the person visits a site running the SDK. See Nudges and flags. |
| Set a flag on the person | Stores a value your site can read with snagr.flag(), for example to unlock a discount. |
| Call a webhook | POSTs a signed request to your own server. See Webhooks. |
Before you switch a flow on
- Send a test to an address you own.
- Check the link in the email goes somewhere the person can actually finish.
- Make sure the finish event really fires, or people will keep getting reminders.
