Claude CodeCursorAgent setup
Ask your coding agent to set up recovery.
A coding agent can use Snagr's install skill to find start and finish events, add the browser script and server calls, and configure recovery through the authenticated MCP server. A secret SDK key scopes tools to your team. New flows default to inactive so you can review them before sending.

Step 1
Get your keys
Create a free account, choose SDK setup, and create a secret key on the Developers page. Store it in your server environment as SNAGR_SECRET_KEY. Give your agent access through your local environment, never through a public repository or browser variable.
Step 2
Connect MCP
For Claude Code, run the command below. Other clients can connect to the same HTTP endpoint with an Authorization: Bearer header. Without a secret key, the server provides public documentation tools only.
claude mcp add --transport http snagr https://www.snagr.sh/api/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer $SNAGR_SECRET_KEY"Step 3
Give your agent the install task
The install skill guides the agent through your actual codebase, identity verification, start and stop events, a draft flow and a test. Review the code changes and email copy before enabling recovery.

What your agent can do
Authenticated tools include list_recent_events, send_event, list_flows, create_flow, update_flow, enroll_person, set_flag, list_people, get_person and get_recoveries. They can change flows and send real events, so test with an address you own and keep flows inactive until reviewed.

Pro includes the team MCP tools. Free teams created on or after September 26, 2026 can use them until their first recovered payment. Older Free teams require Pro for these tools. Public documentation tools remain free.
create_flow defaults to inactive. Ask the agent to keep it inactive, show you the copy and send test events only for an address you own. Enable the flow once you have reviewed it.
Use a client that supports HTTP MCP with a custom Authorization header. The endpoint is https://www.snagr.sh/api/mcp and the token is your server-only secret SDK key. Client configuration varies; the install prompt is usable without an MCP connection too.
