Name the action that gets someone to value: connecting a project, importing data or publishing their first page. Send signed_up when the account is created and onboarding_completed when that milestone is actually reached.

Create a flow from the signup recipe. Link each follow-up to the screen they still need to finish. An email can offer help; an on-site banner can point to the next step while the user is in the app. Review every step before activation.

The finish event stops the follow-ups. Completing setup does not create recovered revenue or consume the first-payment offer by itself. If you also want paid conversion recovery, create a separate flow with purchase_completed as its stop event.

No. Signup recovery uses events from your app and does not need a payment provider. Use the browser script or server API to send signed_up and onboarding_completed.
Yes. Custom flows can start and stop on your event names. Choose a start that expresses intent and a stop that confirms the action is finished.
